Day Forty-six: Monday 13 August 1990
Nebraska City, NE to Branched Oak Lake State Recreation Area, NE
Leave Nebraska City early in the morning, ride uneventfully to Lincoln, NE. What little map information I can glean from my road map about Lincoln allows me to slowly but surely dead-reckon orienteer my path across Lincoln to US route 34. I end the day at Branched Oak Lake State Recreation Area.
Lincoln seemed like a nice town. I also ended up crossing the University of Nebraska campus. I remember noting in downtown Lincoln how there seemed to be bike racks every where. I remember Nebraska as being the most bicycle friendly place I had passed through to date, every road had decent paved shoulders.
